ADOLFO VALDEZ

EDINBURG – Adolfo Valdez, 100, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo G. Valdez; parents, Adolfo and San Juanita Valdez; two sisters, Consuelo Valdez, Rosa Flores; brother, Juan Valdez; and daughter-in-law, San Juanita Valdez.

Mr. Valdez is survived by his five children, Maria Del Socorro (Jose Isabel Jr.) Rodriguez, Jose Luis Valdez, Blanca Estela Valdez, Carlos (Mary) Valdez, Beatrice (Matthew) Poe; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Ramiro Valdez; sister-in-law, Guadalupe Jaime; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
