DAVID AGUILERA EDINBURG - David Aguilera, 66, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mr. Aguilera was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto and Porfiria Aguilera; a daughter, Yvette Aguilera; and four siblings. David is survived by two children, Dina (Daniel) Aguilar of Edinburg, Esequiel (Yvonne) Aguilera of Madison, AL; four grandchildren; four siblings, Carmen Aguilera of Edinburg, Virginia (Adan) Aguirre of Grand Prairie, TX, Paula (Roberto) Villarreal and Irene Salinas, both of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 5, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7473 of Elsa. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
