EDINBURG – Esther Alanis, 70, went home to our Lord Friday, August 10, 2018, at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in Monterrey, N.L., Mrs. Alanis had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Javier Alaniz; and her mother, Natalia Delgado.
Mrs. Alanis is survived by five children, Laura (William) Alanis-Walley of Arlington, TX, Javier (Elizabeth) Alanis, Violeta Alaniz, Angelica Maria Alanis, and Eduardo "Eddie" Alanis, all of Edinburg; six grandchildren; and four brothers.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, August 13, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
