IRMA ALANIS
EDINBURG - Mrs. Irma Alanis, 61, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Camacho; and her mother, Victoria Cervantes.
Irma is survived by her husband, Juan Antonio Alanis of Edinburg; a daughter, Diana Alanis (Jason) Adams of Edinburg; six siblings, Martha Martinez, Magdalena Camacho, Juan Jose Camacho, Olga Camacho, Dora Aguilar, Miguel Camacho; three grandchildren, Diego Joseph, Lukas Antonio and Owen Joaquin. She is also survived by her second family by marriage, Juan Alaniz Glz, Adriana Garza, Julia Lopez, Dora Alaniz, Homero Alaniz and Raul Alaniz.
Known for her wisdom, generosity and compassion, Irma will be greatly missed by those that had the fortune of loving her and being loved by her.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 26, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
