Arnoldo Arce Alaniz

Arnoldo Arce Alaniz, 73, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Amadeo Alaniz, Sr. and Emma Arce Alaniz; two grandsons, Matthew Gabriel Reyes and Mark Garret Reyes; two siblings, Genevieve Benedicto, and Alfredo Alaniz.
Mr. Alaniz is survived by his four children, Maxine Enid (Mario Reyes Reyes) Alaniz Reyes, Abram (Hilda) Alaniz, Alizenet (Erik) Alaniz Amador, Alyssa Odette Alaniz; 11 grandchildren; nine siblings, Gilberto Alaniz, Amadeo Alaniz, Jr., Rosalinda Alaniz Ramirez, Francisca Rios, Albert Alaniz, Minerva Alaniz, Armando Alaniz, Clemencia Garza, and Maria Elena Morua.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
