CIRO ALDAPE
SAN JUAN – Ciro Aldape, 67, died Monday, November 7, 2016, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Mexico, Ciro came to the United States with a dream of making a better life for his family and wife. While working day and night to fulfill the American dream. Mr. Aldape became the proud owner of Ciro’s Restaurant and well known for his invention of the Botana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pilar and Maria Aldape; four siblings, Pilar Aldape, Jr., Antonio Aldape, Norma Alicia Aldape, Maria De Dolores Aldape.
Ciro is survived by his wife, Ofelia Aldape of San Juan; a son, Edgar (Elizabeth) Aldape of Edinburg; two daughters, Sonia (Daniel) Castaneda of Weslaco, Cynthia Aldape of McAllen; eight grandchildren; a great grandson; two siblings, Federico Aldape and Alma Delia Aldape both of Mexico.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, November 8, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. November 9, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
