CONSUELO “CONNIE” ALEMAN
EDINBURG – Consuelo “Connie” Aleman, 56, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Robstown, Texas, Mrs. Aleman had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Aleman II; two grandchildren, Amanda and Clarissa Chavez; her parents, Rafael and Leonarda Chapa; four brothers, Jose Luis, Arnulfo, Rafael, and Juan Manuel Chapa.
Mrs. Aleman is survived by five children, Angelica (Adolfo) Chavez, Jose Antonio (Vicky) Aleman, Hermelinda (Garth) Larson, Miguel Ernesto Aleman and Jose Aleman III.: seven grandchildren, Becky, Kassandra, Mireah, Beatrice, Marcos, Melissa, and Carlos; five brothers, Rodlfo, Ricardo, Thomas, Rogelio and Jose Guadalupe Chapa; three sisters, Josefina Gomez, Celestina Zarate and Aurora Ramirez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, June 22, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton, in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services ar e under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
