MARIA M. ALEMAN
LAKE ODESSA, MICHIGAN/ALAMO – Maria M. Aleman, 70, of Lake Odessa, Michigan, formerly of Alamo, was called Home to be with her Lord on Friday afternoon, May 29, 2009.
Maria was born in Edinburg on June 8, 1938 to Geronimo and Francisca (Acosta) Noyola. She was united in marriage to Lorenzo Aleman; he preceded her in death in 1983. Maria enjoyed cooking and especially loved her family. She was an active member of the Living Gospel Church in Lake Odessa, Michigan and loved her church family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lorenzo Aleman; a son, Lorenzo Aleman Jr.; and a sister, Paula Hernandez.
Maria is survived by seven children, San Juanita (Noel) Gonzalez, Norma Ambriz, Josefa (Heriberto) Sanchez, Javier (Bertha) Aleman, Mariana (Arturo) Robledo, Lucila (Manuel) Segura and Lourdes (Andy) Cano; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a brother, Jose (Francisca) Noyola.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service today, June 3, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 11 am Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Grace Baptist Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
