San Juan - Beatriz C. Alonzo, 99, entered eternal rest Thursday, January 12, 2023, at her residence in San Juan.
Born in Burgos, Tamaulipas, she had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Alonzo; two sisters, Francisca Cavazos, Victorina Elizondo; and a brother, Jose Cavazos.
Mrs. Alonzo is survived by four children, Raquel (Alberto) Macias, Rebecca Puente, Maria del Rosario (Gaspar+) Alonzo, Ernestina (Ike) Galindo Jr.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan, followed by an 11 a.m. graveside service at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
