GUADALUPE ALVARADO
SAN JUAN – Guadalupe Alvarado, 64, died Friday, July 15, 2011, at his residence in San Juan.
Mr. Alvarado was born in San Juan and had lived there all of his life. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Presentacion and Paulina Alvarado.
Mr. Alvarado is survived by his wife, Paulina S. Alvarado, of San Juan; three children, Noe (Cris) Alvarado, of Edinburg, Lilia Alvarado, Roel Alvarado, both of San Juan; five grandchildren, Jason and Lexi Aguilera, Maloree Mares, Raul III and Victoria Ochoa; three great-grandchildren, Allie, Melanie, and AJ Nicoli Mares; four brothers, Santos Alvarado, Gilberto Alvarado, Vicente Alvarado, all of San Juan, Ruben Alvarado, of Mission; a sister, Irene Alvarado, of Mission; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, July 17, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, July 18, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
