LYDIA "LILLY" ALVARADO
EDINBURG - Lydia "Lilly" Alvarado, 70, died Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Senior Care in Edinburg.
She worked for the Humane Society for many years, as caring for animals was her passion in life. She had three cats she called her "babies" which were rescue cats and became part of her family. She will be greatly missed.
Lydia is preceded in death by her son, Robert Rodriguez; her parents, Simon Rodriguez and Concepcion De La Rosa; three brothers, Victor Rodriguez, Arnold Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez; and a sister, Maria Luisa Riojas.
Ms. Alvarado is survived by her brother, Pedro Rodriguez; two sisters, Rosie Martinez and Maria Cantu, all of Edinburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday March 31, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
