JUSTINO A. ALVAREZ

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me into the path of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23

Born in McAllen, Mr. Alvarez had lived in San Juan for 25 years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.

Our father loved the Lord and had given his life to Him. He was a faithful servant who worshipped God. As a father, he was loving and always set a good example of what a good father should be. He was a gentleman and a good faithful friend. Our most precious memories of him are that of a hard working man who never missed a day of work and was very punctual every day. We will always remember our gentle and loving father.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reynaldo and Sofia Alvarez; and a sister, Gloria Alvarez.
