| Angela Luna De La Cruz, 89, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Noe De La Cruz; parents, Rafael M. Luna and Maria Paz Luna; two brothers, Miguel Luna, Raymond Luna; and a sister, Sara Lilia Luna. Mrs. De La Cruz is survived by her seven siblings, Maria Elva (Sam) Eriz, Ampelio Luna, Lino (Maria) Luna, Matilde Luna, Donald (Teresa) Luna, Blanca Luna, Ralph J. (Lupe) Luna; a sister-in-law, Denise Luna; 11 nieces and nephews, Nancy "Tina" Luna, Mike (Lisa) Luna, Mario Eriz, Kimberly (Paul) Stewart, Natalie (Timothy) Sievers, Thomas Luna, Marisa Arteaga, Sara Luna, Laura (Alberto) Varela, Gabriela Luna (Jesus) Aguilar, Marisela Luna; and 13 great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
