TOMASITA F. ANZALDUA
EDINBURG – Tomasita F. Anzaldua, 72, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Lifecare Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Calallen, Texas, Mrs. Anzaldua lived in Edinburg all of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Amador "Mayo" Anzaldua; her parents, Juan R. and Maria Concepcion "Chonita" Figueroa; five brothers, and one sister.
Mrs. Anzaldua beloved mother and grandmother, survived by her five daughters, Angelita (Lorenzo) Salinas, Ursula Y. Puente, Melanie Allison (David Gonzalez) Anzaldua, all of Edinburg, Alexandria A. (Reymundo) Davila, of Kermit, Texas, Annette A. (Geardo) Salinas, of Elsa; nine grandchildren, Shelley Ann Molina, Priscilla Davila, Reymundo Davila Jr., Laura Dominguez, Gerardo Salinas Jr., Gabriel Salinas, Audrey Marie Mejia, Ricardo Puente, Jr. and Amador Puente; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Adelita (Cruz) Rodriguez, of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Gerardo Salinas Jr., Gabriel Salinas, Ricardo Puente Jr., Amador Puente, Reymundo Davila, Jr. and Raymundo Montanez, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jose Govea, Joe Cantu, Jason Garcia, Daniel Lugo, Bart Garza, Pedro Dominguez, IV, Reymundo Davila, III and Isaiah Amador Mejia.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, January 16, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, January 17, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valle De La Paz in Hargill, Texas.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
