JOSE M. ARCAUTE, JR.
SAN JUAN - Jose M. Arcaute, Jr., 89, died Tuesday, Decebmer 21, 2010 at Alfredo Gonzalez Texas State Veterans Home in McAllen.
Born in San Juan, Mr. Arcaute had lived there all of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anita Arcaute.
Mr. Arcaute is survived by two sons, Jose (Cata) Arcaute of Lansing, Michigan, Arturo ((Licha) Arcaute of San Juan; three daughters, Anita (Sabas) Garcia of Leslie, Michigan, Yolanda (Pablo) Ayala of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Norma Arcaute of Lansing, Michigan; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Concepcion Garcia of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, December 26, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 11:30 am, Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by VFW 8788 of McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
