MARIA “MARY” AREVALO PHARR – Maria “Mary” Arevalo, 66, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at her residence in Pharr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Constantino Arevalo. Mrs. Arevalo is survived by six sons, Bernardo (Rose) Arevalo, of Pharr, Raymond (Carmen) Arevalo, of Houston, Richard (Veronica) Arevalo, of Alton, David Arevalo, Joe Martin Arevalo, both of McAllen, Marc Arevalo, of Pharr; three daughters, Melba (Gerardo) Salinas, of San Juan, San Juanita (Luis) Arevalo, Zelina Oviedo, both of Pharr; 23 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, November 14, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
