JUAN JAVIER ARREDONDO ALAMO – Juan Javier Arredondo, 42, died Monday, December 15, 2014, at his residence in Alamo. Mr. Arredondo was born in Alamo and had lived there all of his life. He was employed as a football coach and language arts teacher at Alamo Middle School. Juan Javier is survived by his wife, Adriana Arredondo; two children, Yvette Arredondo, Xavier Arredondo; his mother and step-father, San Juanita and Zeferino Silva; a sister, Jacqueline Silva; a brother, Gilbert Silva; his maternal grandparents, Antonio and Maria Elena Arredondo; aunts and uncles, Elia Rodriguez, Martha Arredondo, Ruben Arredondo, Mario Arredondo, Ricardo Arredondo and Alejandro Arredondo, all of Alamo. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
