REV. PEDRO V. ARREDONDO PHARR – Rev. Pedro V. Arredondo, 74, died Saturday, October 5, 2013, at his residence in Pharr. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Guadalupe Arredondo; and a brother, Antonio Arredondo. Rev. Arredondo is survived by his wife, Maria F. Arredondo; 12 children, Maria Caballero, Daniel Arredondo, Sandra De Leon, Nina Fonseca, Pete Arredondo Jr., Gladys Elizondo, Joel Arredondo, Alex Arredondo, Josue Arredondo, Jerry Arredondo, David Arredondo and Saul Arredondo; 24 grandchildren; his mother, Maria L. Arredondo; seven sisters, Maria Guadalupe Cervantes, Martina Lopez, Juana Degollado, Maria Espino, Librada Adriano, Consuelo Guzman and Adela Soriana; and three brothers, Guadalupe Arredondo, Smokey Arredondo and Apolinar Arredondo. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, October 7, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Iglesia De Dios in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
