GUADALUPE AVALOS
ALAMO - Guadalupe Avalos, 72, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at his residence in Alamo.
Mr. Avalos was born in Alamo and had lived there all of his life. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Amada Avalos; and a sister, Carmen A. Trevino.
Mr. Avalos is survived by his wife, Guadalupe G. Avalos; two sons, Jesus F. (Irasema) Avalos, Ricardo R. (Belinda) Avalos; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Maria Quintero; and a brother, Jose Kirwin.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, today, May 28, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
