Aviel Escobar

SAN JUAN- Aviel Escobar, 66, died on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Enriqueta Escobar; and six siblings.

Mr. Escobar is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Escobar; four children, Esteban Escobar, Veronica (Jessie Ramos) Escobar, Brenda (Angel Torres) Escobar, Natalia (Jaime Juarez) Escobar; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rafaela Fernandez, Soila Torres, Elvira Sanchez, Aurora Rodriguez; one brother, Jose Escobar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
