MAGDALENA “NENA” BADILLO EDINBURG — Magdalena “Nena” Badillo, 87, died Sunday, August 25, 2013, at her residence in Edinburg. Mrs. Badillo had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She is preceded in death by a son, Frank Badillo. Magdalena is survived by her husband, Julian Badillo of Edinburg; two sons, Rojelio (Maria) Badillo and Javier (Sonia) Badillo, both of Edinburg; a daughter, Elia (Raul) Pardo of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, August 27, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
