FRANCISCO BALDAZO ALAMO – Francisco Baldazo, 84, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Harlingen. Born in Alamo, Mr. Baldazo had lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Barbarita Baldazo; daughter, Sylvia Martinez; and brother, Candelario Baldazo. Francisco is survived by his wife, San Juanita Baldazo of Alamo; 11 children, Arcelia (Raymond) Salas of Lubbock, TX, Janie Rodriguez of Fruitland, ID, Frank Baldazo of Lubbock, TX, Noelia (Jim McFarland) Baldazo of Seattle, WA, Oralia Garcia of Caldwell, ID, John (Kristan) Baldazo of Notus, ID, Mirta Baldazo of Caldwell, ID, Manuel (Ramona Rogers) De La Pena of Harlingen, Sandra (Gabriel) De La Pena-Ayala of Canyon Lake, TX, Robert Baldazo and Eulalia Baldazo, both of Alamo; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Guadalupe Baldazo of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Soila Aguilar. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, February 20, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
