We would like to thank the staff at Comfort House, who consisted of Luis, Luisa, Sandra, Jose, Sonia, Edith, Laura, Marleen, and David; and the staff of All State Hospice for all that you did to make our Mom’s last two months as comfortable as possible. Our mom spoke very highly of all of you. You were all very appreciated and we were blessed to see the love and patience that you demonstrated with all the patients. Our mom enjoyed the late night conversations that she had with all of you. Special thanks to Oralia Ramirez for always being there for Mom; you were her special friend and she loved you dearly.
You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her, or you can be full of all the love that you shared. You can remember her and only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memories and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty, and turn your back, or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.We love you, Mom, so much, and will miss you and cherish all our memories with you.
