ERIBERTO G. BANDA, SR.
EDINBURG - Eriberto G. Banda, Sr., 82, died Sunday, November 8, 2010, at Comfort House in McAllen.
Born in McKay, Texas, Mr. Banda had lived in Edinburg for six years.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Paula Salinas; his father, Rumaldo Banda; three brothers, Lorenzo Banda, Mateo Banda, Fidencio Banda; and a son-in-law, Manuel Garza, III.
Mr. Banda is survived by his wife, Frances Banda, of Edinburg; three children, Mary (Roel) Hinojosa, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Lori Garza and Eriberto (Debi) Banda, Jr., both of Lansing, Michigan; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Angelita Banda and Eufracia Banda, both of Littlefield, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 11 am to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, November 8, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
