MARIA G. BAUTISTA PHARR - Maria G. Bautista, 76, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mrs. Bautista was born in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and had lived in Pharr most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Margarito Bautista; and a brother, Ramon Morin. Mrs. Bautista is survived by 10 children, Antelmo (Corina) Bautista, of Parish, Florida, Alicia (Jose) Castillo, of Alamo, Maria D. (Alberto) Gonzalez, of Pharr, Irene (Adan) Gomez, of Port Mayaca, Florida, Americo (Cecilia) Bautista, Adan (Juany) Bautista, Alfredo Bautista, all of Pharr, Margarito (Francisca) Bautista,of Alamo, Olga L. (Francisco) Guevara, of San Juan and Armando (Rachel) Bautista, of Pharr; 31 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ruben, Alonso, Jose Luz and Genaro Villarreal; two sisters, Candelaria Ramirez and Natalia Elizondo. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, June 10, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Templo Bethel Asamblea De Dios in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
