MAURO BERNAL EDINBURG - Mauro Bernal, 84, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at LifeCare Hospital-North in McAllen. Mr. Bernal was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Manuel Bernal; and four siblings. Mauro is survived by his six children, Mauro Bernal, Kimmie Bernal, Lydia (Rolando) Luna, Jessica Bernal, Brenda Bernal, all of Edinburg, Tammy (Noe Cobos) Bernal of Canyon Lake, TX; 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two siblings, Ruben Garcia and Connie Ozuna, both of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 8788 of McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
