ALAMO - Senona Bernal, 90, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in San Juan.
Born in Harlingen, Mrs. Bernal had lived in Alamo all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Bernal; a daughter, Frances Solis; two granddaughters, Sylvia Gutierrez and Sara Vela.
Mrs. Bernal is survived by three sons, Leonardo (Domitila) Bernal, Alejandro (Guadalupe) Bernal, Amando Bernal, all of Alamo; a daughter, Mariana Bernal of San Juan; a son-in-law, Vicente Solis of Alamo; 36 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Natividad (Pedro) Gomez of San Antonio, Texas.
A rosary was held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 pm, today, July 22, 2010 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
