RICARDO “RICKY” BOCANEGRA
PHARR – Ricardo “Ricky” Bocanegra, 27, died Monday, January 26, 2009, in San Juan.
Born in San Jose, California Ricky had lived in Pharr all of his life and was the owner of Smoke Stop Shop in San Juan. He was a wonderful, loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Benito Bocanegra.
Ricky is survived by his wife; three children; his mother, Alma G. Bocanegra; two sisters, Julissa (Mauricio Perez) Bocanegra, Krystle Ann (Victor Rios) Bocanegra, all of Pharr; maternal grandmother, Dionicia R. Gonzalez, of McAllen; and paternal grandparents, Primitivo and Maria Bocanegra, of Pharr.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, February 3, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
