BRAULIA ODILIA GARCIA

EDINBURG – Braulia (Bea) Odilia Garcia, 84, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at her residence in Edinburg.

Bea loved cooking for others and making her famous ice tea. She especially loved those casino trips she took with her husband. She was a blessing in many lives. She will be greatly missed by her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Manuel Garcia and Guadalupe Luna; seven siblings, Maria Martha Molina, Arnoldo, Lauro, Odon, Alonzo, Antonio Manuel, and Humberto Garcia; and a nephew, Hector Molina.

Bea Garcia is survived by her husband, Eloy Aleman Garcia Sr.; two children, Sonia (husband-Jacob) Olmeda and Eloy Garcia Jr.; four grandchildren, Daniel (wife-Stephanie) Garcia, Alexandra Olmeda, Sofia Olmeda, and Oliva Olmeda; a great-grandchild, Lilly Garcia; a nephew and two nieces considered siblings, Omar Molina, Sally Salinas, and Gloria Linda Uresti; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vistiation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
