ELIODORO BRAVO McALLEN – Eliodoro Bravo, 80, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at his residence in McAllen. Born in Reynosa Tamps. Mexico, he had lived in McAllen most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Josefina Bravo; two sisters, Dolores Maldonado and Angelita Alvarado; and two brothers, Nicolas and Guadalupe Bravo. Mr. Bravo is survived by his wife, Lydia Bravo of McAllen; six sons, Eliodoro (Yolanda) Bravo, Jr. of Hidalgo, Ricardo (Martha) Bravo of Alamo, Luis (Valentina) Bravo of La Blanca, Alberto (Lupita) Bravo of McAllen, Oscar (Cecilia) Bravo of La Blanca, and Fernando (Anabel) Bravo of San Juan; two daughters, Oralia (Manuel) Bravo of Mission, and Lydia Bravo of Midland, TX.; 34 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Felix Bravo, Jr. and Gavino Bravo of Madera, CA; and two sisters, Francisca B. Munoz and Rosalinda B. Gutierrez. A rosary was held Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. today, June 5, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
