ERMINIO W. BRAVO SAN JUAN - Erminio W. Bravo, 92, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at his residence in San Juan. Born in Webber Ranch, Texas, Mr. Bravo had lived in San Juan since 1968 and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evangelina N. Bravo; two sons, Antonio Diaz, Celerino Diaz; and six brothers, Elias, Enrique, Eron, Florencio, and Antonio Bravo and Jose Cantu; and his great-grandfather, John Ferdinand Webber. Mr. Bravo is survived by seven children, Sofia Bravo Casarez, of San Juan, Silvia Bravo (Mark) Carvajal, of San Antonio, Herminio (Cindy) Bravo Jr., of Lake Jackson, Efren (Consuelo) Diaz, of Alamo, Margarita de la Cruz, Uvaldo (Patricia) Bravo, both of San Juan, Felimon (Carrie) Bravo, of Austin; a son-in-law, Reymundo Casarez, ; two daughters-in-law, Martina Diaz, Candelaria Diaz; a brother, Francisco Bravo, all of San Juan; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a goddaughter, Anna Hernandez, of Mission and a godson, Hector Orozco, of Dallas. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 31, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Webber Cemetery in Donna. Pallbearers will be Camilo Diaz, Erminio Bravo III, Hector Diaz, Reymundo Casarez Jr., Emilio Bravo and Eduardo Casares. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
