MARIA QUEVEDO BRIONES
PHARR – Maria Quevedo Briones, 90, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Briones; a daughter, Anita Pecina; her parents, Roman and Santos Quevedo.
Mrs. Briones is survived by 14 children, Juan Jose Briones, Fidel Briones, Benito Briones, Felix Briones, Carolina Daily, Benjamin Briones, Gloria Rizo, Alma Delia Briones, Rodrigo Briones, Humberto Briones, Isabel Martinez, Daniel Briones, Maria Elena Briones, Hilario Briones; numerous grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, January 19, 2017 and Friday, January 20, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
