Virginia Brown

May 3, 1943 — June 9, 2022

Virginia Brown went to her Lord and Savior at the age of 79 from the comfort of her home on June 9, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many.

Virginia was born to Fred and Della Clark on May 3, 1943 in Edinburg, Texas. Right before her family was to move to Pennsylvania, she caught the eye of a young man named Robert “Bobby” L. Brown. Virginia and Bobby were a match made by heaven and married on February 6, 1960 and started a life together that became a legacy of love. Together they had two children, Robert L. Brown III and Melanie Lopez.

Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and often mentioned how blessed she was to know her kids and grandchildren knew the Lord so she would see them in heaven. One of her greatest joys was her grandchildren whom she spent every Sunday with after church. Road trips to Canada, sleepovers, and black friday shopping were the few adventures she had with her grandkids. You often found her spending evenings with her lifelong friends, Stony and Sandra Grantham, tending to her beautiful porch garden, watching westerns with Bobby, saying her prayers, and chatting on the phone with her friends and family.

She was a selfless woman and cared for anyone who crossed her path. Her giving heart was big as she touched many lives. Her smile, laugh, and witty humor was contagious. She was one of a kind.
Virginia is survived by the love of her life, Robert L. Brown; son, Robert L. Brown III (Selena), daughter, Melanie Lopez (Albert); grandchildren, Brittni Chapa (Reuben), Morgan Johnson (Travis), Jackie Bassett (Jacob), Caroline Stultz (Ben), Leigha Tumlinson (Trevor), Robert L. Brown IV, Christopher Lopez; many great grandchildren; a sister, Della Rork; a brother, Fred (Myoung) Clark; many nieces and nephews.
