JUAN MORENO CABRERA
EDINBURG – Juan Moreno Cabrera, 60, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in McAllen, Mr. Cabrera had lived in Edinburg for 27 years and in McAllen most of his life.
Preceded in death by his parents, Catarino and Maria Moreno Cabrera; two brothers, Esequiel and Alberto Cabrera; two sisters, Maria Luisa Rangel and Petra Reyes.
Mr. Cabrera is survived by his wife, San Juanita Cabrera, of Edinburg; five children, Catarino (Elizabeth) Cabrera, Maribel Cabrera, Ivette Marie Cabrera, all of Edinburg, Juan Marcos (Amanda) Cabrera, Ennis, Texas, Lizette Cabrera (Stevie) Lira, of McAllen; 13 grandchildren, Christian, Joshua, Callee, Jolie Cabrera, Adriana, Matthew, Noah Cabrera, Jeremy, Anneliese, Julissa, Jowell Lira, Randy, Ian Cabrera Aguirre; two brothers, Francisco Cabrera, Guadalupe Cabrera; four sisters, Silveria Garcia, Juanita Garza, Jesusa Gonzalez and Maria Elisa Flores.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, March 29, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
