CAMELIA SAENZ MARES

RIO GRANDE CITY – Camelia Saenz Mares, 58, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.

Camelia is survived by her three children, Moises (Beatrice) Mares; Armando Mares, Alam Mares; two grandchildren, Ximena Mares, Nicolas Mares; parents, Margarita R. Ozuna and Rogelio Saenz; maternal grandmother, Myrthea A. Garza; four siblings, Cynthia (Mark) Steinke, Miriam Hinojosa, Manuel (Angelica) Ozuna, Noe Javier (Elizabeth) Ozuna; and an aunt, Fabiana Cardenas. She is preceded in death by her uncle, Thomas Roodman.

Visitation will be held from 11 to 3 p.m. with a 1 p.m. Memorial Service Saturday, January 6, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
