Ana Maria Campos

SAN JUAN – Ana Maria Campos, 48, died Monday, August 27, 2012, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. Born in Reynosa, Mexico, Ana Maria had lived in San Juan. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Simona Cardona; and grandfather, Guadalupe Medina. Ms. Campos is survived by her daughter, Ana Gabriela Campos of Weslaco; four grandchildren, Mario Soto, Celina Soto, Alan Soto and Brandon Carvajal, all of Weslaco; parents, Aurea and Lazaro Cuellar of San Juan; siblings, Maria Teresa Cuellar, Veronica Mendoza, Rosa Isela Cuellar, Lazaro Cuellar, Jr., all of San Juan, Maria Isabel Cuellar of Edinburg and Adriana Cuellar of Pharr. A rosary was held at 7 p.m. August 28, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today, August 29, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
