ARTURO CAMPOS PHARR — Arturo Campos, 62, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, in Bastrop, TX. Born in Mexico, he had lived in Pharr most of his life. He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Campos; and a brother, Samuel Campos. Mr. Campos is survived by his three children, Veronica Campos of Pharr, Antonio (Irma) Campos of San Juan, and Ulysses Arturo (Jessica) Campos of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren, Quin Canada, D’Aundre Canada, McKayla Campos, and Mia Campos; five siblings, Saul Campos of Edinburg, Gustavo Campos of Pharr, Irma Rodriguez of McAllen, Dora Leal of Mission, and Esther Leffler of San Antonio, TX; his mother, Margarita Campos of Pharr; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
