SAMUEL "SAMMY" CAMPOS, SR.
PHARR - Samuel "Sammy" Campos Sr., 49, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Mr. Campos had lived in Pharr all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Campos.
Sammy is survived by his companion, Perfecta De La Rosa, of Pharr; three children, Samuel Campos Jr., of Pharr, Sarai Campos, of Edinburg, Susie Campos, of Alamo; a grandson, Leo G. Santana Jr.; his mother, Margarita Campos, of Pharr; three brothers, Arturo Campos, of San Juan, Saul (Leticia) Campos, of Edinburg, Gustavo (Janie) Campos, of Pharr; three sisters, Irma (Roberto) Rodriguez, of McAllen, Dora (Armando) Leal, of Mission, Esther (Ron) Leffler, of San Antonio, Texas; and three stepchildren, Rebecca Santana, Roy De La Rosa, Ross De La Rosa, all of Pharr; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, March 27, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Heavenly Splendor Family Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
