ARTURO G. CANO


SAN JUAN – Arturo G. Cano, 65, died Friday, May 27, 2011 in San Juan.


Born in San Juan, Mr. Cano lived there all of his life.


He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Elvira Cano; and a sister, Elva Cano.


Mr. Cano is survived by his wife, Yolanda Cano of San Juan; two children, Janie C. (Omar) Ortiz of Pharr, and Arturo (Samantha) Cano of San Juan; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy, Alyssa, and Anissa; two sisters, Aida (Jose) Aguilar of San Juan, and Elodia (Agustin) Garcia of Houston, Texas.


Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service, Monday, May 30, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will take place at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.


Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
