Felipa Puente Cano

FELIPA PUENTE CANO SAN JUAN - Felipa Puente Cano, 81, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at her residence in San Juan. Mrs. Cano was born in McAllen and had lived in San Juan most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rojelio Cano, Sr.; two sons, Rojelio Cano, Jr. and Jose Angel Cano; a sister, Leonila Mendoza; and a brother, Reyes Puente. Mrs. Cano is survived by three daughters, Guadalupe Cano, Antonia (Juan) Marez both of San Juan, Felipa (Fred) Trevino of Mission; seven sons, Carlos (Marisol) Cano of San Juan, Rojelio (Janie) Cano, Jr. of Edinburg, Noe (Paula) Cano, Sr. of Donna, Ray (Gracie) Cano, Sr. of Pharr, Roberto(+Norma) Cano, Sr., Ricardo Cano, Sr. and Juan Fernando Cano all of San Juan; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Eusebio, Jose, Leandro, Rodrigo, and Ruben; and a sister, Irene Limas. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
