Maria Guadalupe Cano

MARIA GUADALUPE CANO PHARR - Maria Guadalupe Cano, 91, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mrs. Cano was born in Hidalgo and had lived in Pharr all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Cano; parents, Tomas and Angelita Perez; two sisters, Benilde P. Cienfuegos, Tomasita P. Munguia; three brothers, Manuel Perez, Ignacio Perez and Tomas Perez, Jr. Mrs. Cano is survived by her two children, Arturo and Alicia Cano, both of Pharr; three sisters, Angelita Garcia, Marcela Martinez, Facunda Plaisance; one brother, Gilberto Perez, all of Hidalgo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, June 5, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
