AGUSTINA “TINA” CANTU EDINBURG — Agustina "Tina" Cantu, 80, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born in Yorktown, TX, Mrs. Cantu had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Tina is survived by her husband, Catarino Cantu of Edinburg; five children, Petra Cantu of Edinburg, Irma (Jerry) Cavaluzzi of The Woodlands, TX, Ricardo Cantu of Turlock, CA, Raquel (Richard) Garcia of Houston, TX, Dora (Jorge) Jasso of Edinburg; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Angelita Tagle of Edinburg and Maria Rodriguez of Houston; and brother, Crispin Contreras of Houston. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 13, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
