Anita R. Cantu

EDINBURG/SAN CARLOS - Anita R. Cantu, 97, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Manuel C. Cantu; a son, Eduardito Cantu; a daughter, Elodia C. Flores; and a grandson, Orlando Lopez, Jr. Anita is survived by her loving daughter, Mela (Orlando) Lopez, of Grand Prairie, TX; four sons, Gilberto (Beatrice) Cantu, Jose Luis (Janie) Cantu, Eduardo (Julia) Cantu, Rolando (Elia) Cantu, all of Edinburg; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A rosary was held Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today, August 31, 2012, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
