SAN JUAN - David Victor Cantu, 47, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in San Juan, Mr. Cantu had lived there most of his life and was a member of Los Wesleyanos United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel G. Cantu; and a brother, Daniel G. Cantu, Jr.
Mr. Cantu is survived by his mother, Minerva A. Cantu; a sister, Delia C. Benavides, both of San Juan; a sister-in-law, Herlinda Cantu, of Florida; three nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews; one great-niece; and one great-nephew.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service today, November 23, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Los Wesleyanos United Methodist Church in San Juan. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
