EDINBURG – Edgar Giovanni Cantu, 17, gained his Angel Wings Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his paternal step-grandfather, Romualdo Fraire; and his baby cousin, Jaiden DeLeon.
Edgar Giovanni is survived by his mother, Diana Solis (Romualdo) Fraire, Jr. of Edinburg; his father, Jose Edgar (Johana) Cantu of San Juan; six siblings, Yanelly Fraire, Yandel Faire, Yancarlo Fraire, all of Edinburg, Gael Cantu, Yahir Cantu, Victoria Cantu, all of San Juan; his maternal grandparents, Arturo and Maria Elena Solis of Edinburg, Jose and San Juanita Cantu of San Juan, paternal step-grandmother Irma Fraire.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 7, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funerla will take at 1 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
