DAHLIA CANTU GARCIA
SAN JUAN — Dahlia Cantu Garcia, 84, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Israel “Ike” Garcia; a son, Fernando “Freddy” Garcia; and her parents, Cesar and Otila T. Cantu.
Dahlia is survived by her children, Robert (Leonor) of Collinsville, Illinois, Cynthia of Dallas, and Rene of Kerrville, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Aurora Rosser of Chicago.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Magic Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
