Guadalupe R. Cantu

ALAMO – Guadalupe R. Cantu, 76, went home to our Lord Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Nuevo Leon, MX, Mr. Cantu had lived in Alamo most of his life.
He is preceded in death by two sons, Joel and Javier Cantu; and his parents, Rene and Maria Dolores Cantu.
Mr. Cantu is survived by his loving wife, Martha Cantu; three children, Olinda (Jesus) Moreno, Monica (Jose Luis) Gonzalez, Gabriel (Maritza) Cantu; a daughter-in-law, Charlene Cantu; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
