JONATHAN EFRAIN “JON” CANTU
EDINBURG – Jonathan Efrain “Jon” Cantu, 32, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021, in Edinburg.
Jon was the kindest of souls with a genuinely generous heart. He loved his family with all his heart and was a believer in Jesus Christ our Lord. He was passionate about travel and enjoyed much time on the road exploring new places. He was a wandering spirit who wanted to see it all. He will be forever loved and missed by his family. We are grateful for the blessings his life brought to us all. We will always remember.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Efrain and Isabel Flores; paternal grandparents, Guillermo and Maria Cantu.
Mr. Cantu is survived by his parents, Vincent and Nilda Flores Cantu; his brother, Vincent Michael Cantu; two sisters Stephanie Lorraine Cantu and Christina Denise Cantu; two nieces, Chelsea and Amaris; a nephew, Jovani; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Memorial service Friday, June 25, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Edinburg.
