Reynaldo Cantu

REYNALDO CANTU PHARR - Reynaldo Cantu, 60, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at his residence. Born in Pharr, he had lived there most of his life and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. He is preceded in death by a brother, Ramiro Cantu. Mr. Cantu is survived by his wife, Rafaela Cantu; two sons, Reynaldo Cantu Jr. and Ricardo Cantu, both of Alamo; three grandchildren; five brothers, Rosalio Cantu, of Holland, Michigan, Roel Cantu, of Aurora, Illinois, Rene Cantu, of Salinas, California, Rolando Cantu, of McAllen, Raul Cantu, of Pharr; four sisters, Bertha Quijada, Biola Contreras, both of McAllen, Belma Cantu, of Pharr, and Belinda Mendoza, of McAllen. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 3, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
