Filiberto Carrillo

EDINBURG – Filiberto Carrillo, 88, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 7, 2017 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Mexico, Mr. Carrillo had lived in Edinburg most of his life.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Maria Eva Cavazos; and his first wife, Paula Meza Carrillo.
Mr. Carrillo is survived by his wife, Maria Lucia Carrillo; three sons, Juan Jose (Leticia Esparza) Carrillo, Jose Guadalupe (Nelda) Carrillo, Jesus Adan Carrillo; three Daughters, Maria De La Luz (Guadalupe) Romero, Maria Emma Carrillo, Maria Del La Rosario Mendez, all of Edinburg; 12 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
